Interactive Exhibition - IAA Mobility

Task: Design and development of an immersive exhibition at IAA Mobility 2023, highlighting innovative surface finishing and design solutions for Leonhard KURZ.

Scope: We were tasked with designing and bringing to life KURZ's spatial brand identity for IAA Mobility and future exhibitions. With TULP on architectural side, we developed and designed a smart and compact booth concept centered around interactive installations and extended product experiences. The booth's layered structure reflected the product's multi-material compositions, creating an engaging narrative about products and brand values. The Leonhard KURZ exhibition featured:

Interactive Media: All products of the exhibition were seamlessly linked to touch applications and animations, bringing KURZ’s design surfaces to life. This playful, hands-on experience inspired attendees with latest innovations in automotive surface design.

Interactive Tower: Dynamic LED Tower showcased KURZ’s cutting-edge products in an exculsive architectural environment with visually stunning content and inteactive design pieces to explore on a tangible item Touch Table.   

Augmented Reality (AR): AR visualizations demonstrated digital foil transfer designs and variations for a EV Wall Box as case study, bringing KURZ’s products to life.   

NFT Wallet & Artwork: We introduced unique 3d-animated NFTs, each representing a one-of-a-kind piece from an exclusive series of 500 tokens. Through a special NFT wallet, visitors were able to collect these digital design tokens, capturing KURZ’s innovative spirit and offering them a unique piece of the brand’s design legacy.
